❗️- What tropes do you find yourself falling for most often?
I’m actually… not too good at defining tropes, or what they. Contrary to popular belief! Usually tropes take time for me to figure things out, buuuuut I think one that I really do like, in the terms of story-telling is the one called “Little Hero, Big War.”
And that reason, straight up might be the quote from Schlock Mercenary. It goes as follows;
“The Milky Way galaxy is a big place. So big, in fact, that attempting to tell its story would be a job for God, or maybe Robert Jordan. It’s the smaller stories that interest us, the galactic mega-epic is just an out-of-focus backdrop for individual heroes and villains.”
See what I mean? There’s a large story at play, the server roleplay, but its the individual stories that make the best out of it. Big wars, sure yeah, you’ll have thousands of people fighting, but the individual tales of one person fighting in that war? That’s the good shit.
Sorta like how I like my space opera games and RTS games, but then I also like my FPS games that take place on the ground, rather than overhead. You get a bigger sense of the story that way.
🍕 – Do you have any headcanons you can’t quite reveal yet? How many? Can we get a sneak peek?
Ohohohoho— Do i?!
I’ve got quite a lot, actually. Faaar more than I wanna say actually!
As for a sneak peek? Hmmmmn… suuuuure! But! Under one condition, I’m only gonna clue you in with a gif!
Well… Actually, we’ll do several gifs. How bout that?
I still believe that the proudest IC moment for Bella; my current muse is still..
(Picture insp used are the
Cliffs of Moher, Ireland!)
is still very much the completion of her Farmhouse; Haven.
The farm itself is a land plot out in Lower La Noscea, and the back end of it lies close to the white cliff-side. the house itself is 2 stories tall with an expansive basement level and subterranean workshop and space. On the western fields sits the hull of an in-progress airship and further past that, past the treeline is a trail that leads down to the beaches below the cliffs, where there’s a pier and a moored-off ship; The Albatross. ( @enambris )
On the eastern side, sits a bright red barn that houses all of Bella’s animals, a place for them to fully spread out and live. It’s essentially a monster petting zoo, with bears, two baby wyverns, chocobos, rescued wolf pups and coeurl kittens too!
Northern fields carry trees and meadows for animals and folks to visit and relax in, flower patches and full on orchards essentially. She does plenty of trade of flowers, wheat, and whatever else that is needed with Limsa and the other settlements and farmers nearby.
The house, farmland, and ships are all maintained by hired housing staff. The place functions properly as a safe haven for those that need shelter, but accepts any and all regardless. Currently, those of that live in Haven are some of the hired help, and then members of Shattered Haven, Belladonna’s own free-company she runs.
While she doesn’t really advertise herself like most free companies, she does offer it to those who need a place. It can be either permanent or a temporary solution till those that are lost find their way again.
Bella takes a lot of pride in her home, the ability to have one, and well, open it up to others just as well!
I hope that answers your ask! Thank you very much ❤
I suppose a bit cheesy when i say this, but the friendship you can create with your writing partners, you’re partners, not usually or typically in that… romantic type of sense, but you’re friends. You can become some of the best of friends with your writing partners.
Probably some of the best people you’d ever meet may be your writing partners. I know that’s true for myself, but I can’t speak for everyone. But.. I can say I’ve met several of the best people.
I even met my wonderful girlfriend this way, writing partners to best friends and then… to now.
So… yeah, that’s what I value most. I.. don’t know if that answers your question properly or anything, but this is how I felt answering would be best..!
